Located in the Chef’s Garden as its name suggests, this new and intimate venue provides diners with a unique culinary experience. Amidst tranquil surroundings guests can enjoy a superb choice of dishes prepared using only the freshest organic produce. Wine

More than 900 labels from some of the finest wine producers throughout the world are on offer at One&Only Reethi Rah. Stored in two temperature-controlled walk-in wine cellars with more than 9,000 bottles from the finest wine lands. The Wine Cellar doubles as a Private Dining Room and is ideal for special events and private get-togethers.

Fanditha

Hidden on the northern tip of the island is the sensual Fanditha. This exotic, beachside spot serves an a la carte Mediterranean cuisine – accompanied by the finest selection of chilled rosés and champagnes. At the lounge area, guests may laze on divan-style bolsters and Arabic carpets, on bamboo loungers or in woven hammocks. On selected evenings, there are late-night parties under the stars with live DJ entertainment, creating a chill-out ambience amidst chandeliers dangling from trees.

Tapasake

This over-water venue combines incredible sunset views with modern Japanese cuisine. For the purist, the chef hand-picks ingredients ensuring sushi and sashimi meet the highest standards. The menu features superb fish and seafood, fresh from the Indian Ocean, transformed into Indian-Japanese tapas. In addition to a selection of premium Sakes, the wine lists concentrates on the worlds’ best Rieslings.

Rah Bar

Swimmers and sunbathers needn’t move far from the main pool to partake in the amazing menu at the adjacent Rah Bar. An all day menu of healthy salads, wraps and snacks also offers low-fat smoothies made with exotic fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of waters and a fresh juice station. With the fall of evening, Rah Bar is transformed into a vibrant cocktail bar with live music, cool martinis, tropical cocktails, sparkling champagne and a fine collection of vintage rums from the Indian Ocean and Caribbean islands.

Reethi Restaurant

A temple of exquisite dining, the dramatic design of Reethi Restaurant frames the natural beauty all around and the stunning cuisine, impeccable service and low-key ambience within. Each of the two elegant Private Spa Suites are suspended over water, linked to the island via a secluded walkway. Each Private Spa Suite Experience is scheduled as ESPA Time and includes full use of the personal heat experiences including an ocean-side bath and steam room for two.

ESPA Aromatherapy Body Massage – 1 hour 20 minutes
Beginning with a welcome foot ritual, this deeply therapeutic, holistic treatment uses a blend of essential oils, which appeal to the senses and whose aromatic healing is a personal response to each individual's needs. Relaxing and calming, or inspiring, uplifting and mind clearing, the benefits of this treatment are pure bliss.

ESPA Deep Tissue Body Massage with Volcanic Hot Stone – 1 hour 20 minutes
Hot stones are used with this sophisticated massage along with elbows and forearms to achieve a truly effective, deep tissue massage. Ideal for clients experienced in massage, this treatment is not for the faint-hearted or the novice and incorporates a welcome foot ritual.

Designated staff provide a personal service for the 12-to-17-year-olds helping them connect and socialise with new friends from around the world in a fun environment. They can enjoy a wide variety of programme options in a designated area including sports, nature, adventure and local excursions.

One&Only Reethi Rah’s all-villa accommodation, combined with the natural beauty of the island and the enriching variety of activities on offer, allows ample opportunity for families to play together, as well as for individual moments of quiet and calm.

One&Only’s signature KidsOnly programme and teen activities are carefully tailored to younger guests – providing children ages four to 11 and teens ages 12 to 17 with an exciting roster of activities and facilities that allow for their very own moments of personal discovery and enjoyment.

Under the expert care of a team of dedicated and fully-certified counsellors, children enjoy their own section of the resort with separate dining facilities, a clubhouse and a swimming pool.

Land Sports

The resort is always buzzing with the energy of island life, and there are dozens of Maldives activities to choose from every day. Excitement is just beyond the doorstep of each villa with beach volleyball, football and Pétanque. Bicycling and jogging are great ways to explore the island’s 44 hectares.

Power Sports

With six kilometres of coastline and 12 beaches there are plenty of choices when it comes to power sports. Water-skiing, speed boat hire, parasailing and wakeboarding are just some of the exciting power sports available at the Water Sports Centre, with expert tuition to help guests get started.

Pools and beaches

With 12 beaches and 40 pools, water sports abound on this island paradise. For more relaxing pursuits, guests may bask in the carved stone bed of the lap pool which stretches out into the ocean, cool in the main pool under swaying palms, or simply indulge in a day of seclusion at a private villa pool or personal stretch of sandy beach.

The main pools are located near Reethi Restaurant. The adult-only lap pool extends 30 metres out into the lagoon and features a unique bubble bed at one end, while the freeform infinity-edge pool has an internal Jacuzzi and islands. Children have their own pool at KidsOnly, which is supervised at all times by a certified lifeguard.

Diving and snorkelling

Thilas, giris, reefs, drop-offs, corners, channels, wrecks – and visibility of up to 50 metres – make this a wonderful and safe place to learn to dive, and an equally rewarding centre for further exploration by the already qualified. Within a short distance is one of the Maldives' best shark sites, as well as the 1988 wreck of the Hembadu, the Rasfari Protected Marine Area and some excellent turtle and manta ray viewing.

At the One&Only Reethi Rah Dive Centre, a PADI Gold Palm Resort and the only PADI National Georgaphic Dive Centre in the Maldives, a team of experts offer a wide range of PADI-certified dive programmes for adults and children as young as 8 years old, including a complimentary daily orientation dive. A PADI Open Water Dive qualification can be achieved during a one-week stay. “Bubblemaker” lessons for younger kids and Discover Scuba programs for pre-teens and older are also available.

Water Sports

With its spectacular shape and six kilometres of stunning coastline blessed with 12 beautiful beaches, One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives is a water-lover’s paradise. Many guests visit simply to explore the amazing tropical wonders of the Indian Ocean, embarking on a dolphin-watching expedition, gliding over crystalline waters on a catamaran, or soaring into the sky on a parasailing adventure.

Sunset sandbank experience
Experience the thrill of visiting a private deserted island, surrounded by the crystal clear waters and coral reefs of the Indian Ocean. Snorkel in the unbelievably warm sea, and discover an abundance of marine life: a multitude of colourful fish, manta rays, barracudas and even turtles. Drinks and snacks will be served on the sandbank, perfect for sunbathing and admiring a spectacular sunset.

Traditional Dhoni sunset sailing
Enjoy an evening cruise on a traditional sailing Dhoni, an ideal activity for families, couples and groups of friends. The crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean are teeming with playful dolphins. A highlight of the trip is the glorious sunset seen from the comfort of a private Dhoni. Refreshments served onboard.

Local island experience
During a visit to a neighbouring local island you will be able to gain insights into the local culture and Maldivian way of life. A member of the friendly recreation staff will be on hand to personally show guests around. Wandering about the island, guests may catch a glimpse of locals building their traditional boats and children at play, with the opportunity to visit the shops for local arts and crafts. There will be plenty of time afterwards for snorkelling, swimming or simply soaking up the sun. At the end of the day, watch the sunset on the horizon of the great Indian Ocean.

One&Only Reethi Rah has two floodlit tennis courts in synthetic hard court surface, and offers individual and group instruction.

Fitness

The combination of a dedicated fitness team and exquisite training environment makes the fitness and wellbeing experience at One&Only Reethi Rah truly unique and complete.

The fitness environment includes a Fitness Centre fully equipped with Technogym® Visioweb and Personal Selection ranges (including Kinesis™ and Fleibility™), a Chi pavilion above the gentle waters of the lagoon and an 18m lap pool next to the main pool.

One&Only Reethi Rah has two floodlit, synthetic tennis grass courts and offers individual and group instruction.

Hours of operation are daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
