Traditional Maldivian Fishing

This luxury hotel in the Maldives offers a traditional fishing trip; fishing in the Maldives is an age-old art passed down from generation to generation even before the arrival of commercial fishing.
Accompanied by an experienced guide you will embark at sunset on a traditional Maldivian fishing Dhoni (boat) to learn the techniques of fishing using a hand line, hook, sinker and bait. Your catch will be prepared to your liking by the culinary team upon your return to the island.
